Students will develop an understanding of literature genres and how to use these types of writing to achieve stated goals. This program includes language arts resources designed to help your student gain proficiency in recognizing genres in writing and using what they know to produce solid writing of their own. They'll also continue with more advanced grammar study and continue vocabulary building. It also includes a guidebook that offers creative writing and literature to coordinate with various themed programs. Additionally, the guidebook offers discussion topics on key literary elements.
A literature set is also included in each package and coordinates with your themed program choice. Students are expected to read about a chapter a day of about 14-18 pages in length.
